About the Role
A Line cook is responsible for prepping ingredients cooking food items and assembling dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications. The Line cook ensure that everything comes out of kitchen is in order - from the prepping of food up to cleaning after cooking. The Line cook always maintain the cleanliness in food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, cooking equipment. The Line cook makes the exact number of food items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously. The line cook is also responsible to receive the ingredients from the supplier's delivery and store in a proper storage area. Line cook will report directly to the F&B Manager at Exuberant Hospitality Group.
Requirements
Exuberant Hospitality Group LLC has following Full-time, seasonal openings from 10/1/2023 through 04/30/2024, Cooks: 40 openings, min 35hrs/wk. 7am-2pm & 3pm-10pm & 11pm-6am. Wage $14.00/hr. Overtime if available is paid at 1.5 (time + half) after 40hrs/week at $21.00/hr. Cooks must be able to work at least 5 day schedule, including weekends and holidays as required. Line cook will report directly to the F&B Manager at Exuberant Hospitality Group. Three (3) months of experience at a restaurant, hotel, resort, or private club is required. The successful applicant must pass a pre-employment background check. All worksites located in Okaloosa County, Osceola County, Palm Beach County, Orange County, Sumter County, Lee County and Marion County, Florida. Rotate/split shift is required. Supplies, work tools & equipment are provided free. Employer does not provide the workers option to board, lodging, or other fringe benefits. However, employer intends to assist the workers to secure lodging, by providing availability and contact information of lodging providers available in the area of work site. Workers are responsible for paying their own lodging, including utilities. No daily transportation to/from work provided. No on the job training provided. Visa & related fees will be reimbursed in the first work week. Guaranteed work for total hours equal to at least ¾ of the workdays in each 12-week period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay or reimburse directly for transportation and daily subsistence (min $14/day and max $59/day with receipts), if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early employer will arrange and pay directly for return transportation and daily subsistence (min $14/day and max $59/day with receipts), upon departure.
